The background for making this thesis is based on the results of an initial survey
conducted on teenagers at SMA 1 Karangbinangun, where there are still teenagers who do
not know the causes and effects of premarital sex. Where the authors found continuity
between good behavior and a positive attitude that can influence premarital sex behavior
that is not deviant. Knowledge and attitudes greatly influence the premarital sex behavior
of adolescents aged 16-17 years at SMA Negeri 1 Karangbinangun. The research method
used is a qualitative research method by conducting a questionnaire survey. The design of
this study uses the analytic correlation method. The population in this study were 89
teenagers aged 16-17 years at SMA Negeri 1 Karangbinangun. Where this study used
random sampling techniques and to determine the final results using data analysis
techniques, namely the Spearman Rho correlation technique. The results of the research
that the authors conducted showed that there was a strong relationship between
knowledge and attitudes towards premarital sex behavior in adolescents aged 16-17 years
at SMA Negeri 1 Karangbinangun. From the results of the data collection score of good
knowledge relationship with premarital sex behavior shows a value of 0.001 and a positive
attitude with premarital sex behavior shows a value of 0.000. Based on the results of the
analysis and conclusions in the discussion chapter, the authors propose the following
suggestions that are expected to be used as a means of information and insight into
knowledge about how knowledge and attitudes relate to premarital sex behavior in
adolescents aged 16-17 years and it is hoped that with this thesis it can obtain knowledge
and experience to apply the knowledge gained, especially regarding the relationship of
